After 4 years in the Air Force I married in 1966. We lived in Southern Michigan until 1980 when I transfered to Traverse City. I retired in 1997 after thirty years of service with MDOT. After retirement, I worked for a road building contractor for one season and then for a engineering firm, part-time for the next ten years. As of this year, I am officially retired.
