Worked for Sievert Bros in Manistee driving truck untill Dec 61. Joined the Air Force in Feb 62 and was stationed at Beale AFB in Marysville CA untill the end of my enlistment. I was a Missile Mech on the Titan 1 so it was only a state side job. When my enlistment was over I went right back to work Civil Service at Beale AFB. While working I attended Yuba College in Marysville and Cal State Chico. Retired in 2002 after 42 1/2 Years. In 1963 I joined the Masons in Yuba City CA and have joined other orders such as the Scottish Rite, York Rite, Shriners. Ameranth (serived as Grand Royal Patron in 2001), Eastern Star & White Shrine.
Now that I am retired we sold our house in CA and live on the road in a 5th wheel RV. Its a fun life where we spend the Summer in the North visiting the Grandkids and doing whatever comes up from driving cattle on a ranch to white water rafting. In the winter we head to FL where we do the fun things down there. We try to hook up with Jim and Judy Bond when in the area. for the last 5 years we have worked Daytona for Speed week keeping the people away from the cars and drivers, then we watch the race from the pit area. If you don't need roots this is the life. We see our Kids and Grandkids every year and do things with them then move on.
