I moved to Texas in 1990. Uvalde, located in the Winter Garden area of Texas, is about the same size as Forrest City. I have been an instructor and division chair and am now a director at Southwest Texas Junior College. Brooke lives about 1 1/2 hours away in San Antonio, so I have my city connection when I want to escape the country. Lee County, Arkansas, will always be my home; however, Texas has certainly been comfortable too.
