55 days and counting. (If it be the Lord's will) till reunion time.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR THE REUNION.

AS FOR ME I WENT ON A DIET IN JANUARY TO LOOSE MY STOMACH AND SO FAR NO CHANGE. I DO WELL FOR A DAY OR SO AND THEN HERE COME THE FREE DINNERS AND SOCIAL OUTTINGS THEN OUT THE WINDOW GOES SELF-DISCIPLINE.

I am trying to shed a few pounds, at least twenty, but I am struggling with that battle as well.
Also, Hey Jennifer Hatten, I have been trying to email you for the longest. Please don't think that I am not responding to your emails, I just can't seem to get you.
I love girl, as a matter of fact, I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Shasta Cook (Wooten)

I'm with you Jackie. I can't do the diet stuff, unless its a see-food diet. LOL! I have tried to stop drinking sodas and other drinks and only drink water. Not doing to good. I said I was going to start back working out with my church group on Mondays & Thursdays, haven't done that either. Guess everybody just gonna have to accept me at the reunion like I am - Thick and yummy aka Thickums. Love you guys see you there.

Loretta Williams

Alesia I can't do the diet. I don't eat right half of the time. I'm always on the go for either my job or my family. My goal was to start working out again but I haven't been able to find time "yet". My weight is up and down and this is who I am...I can't change it but it would be nice...LOL. But hey guys, I must admit...we look good for our age.

Hello again to Lisa and Carla Humbert, it was nice seeing you both this past weekend. My prayers go out to Carla on the lost of her Father. Much love to you and the Lanes Family!!!!

Loretta!

Hey, we look good period and age has nothing to do with it!!! Smile Class of 84.

03/28/09 01:14 AM #49

Alesia Robinson

Loretta you are 100% right I've always heard that dieting don't work. I heard that it's in portion. The experts told me that a body cleansing is what needed first. Last week I was at 170 lbs. This week I was at 166.5. I wanted to get to 145 maybe by the summer.
I had planned to go walking by the beach tomorrow but we are supposed to get snow tomorrow (Yesssssssssssss). I love the snow. I have exercise equipment in my basement but it doesn't motivate me because it's just me working out.

CLASS OF "84" IS STILL THE BEST. THE PROM DIDN'T MAKE OR BREAK US.

as we get older our systems tends to hold on to that body fat that we hate. I miss that size 5/6 I use to be back in high school. And to speak of those body shapers, they are sooo uncomfortable. Let me know if you can find a fat burning program that is not so complicated.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen of the Class of 1984

I am really feelin the love here, that's what make our class so special. Alesia, that video blew me away. Jennifer Hatten, I still got a bone to pick with you.
What's up Shasta, and Mary. Loretta Williams, Jackie Parks and Carrie Smith, it was so good to see you ladies last weekend, hope I didn't squeeze you all too tight with my hugs.
Let's challenge each other to lose at least (10) ponds by the reunion, I need to lose a whole lot more, but that's a start.
Are you all up for the challenge!!!!!!

03/29/09 10:14 PM #54

Jacquelyn Parks

Lisa; I believe I can lose at least 10 lbs. Mary; a guaranteed fat burner would be no sodas and drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. You will see a big difference within a week. Make sure you eat 3 meals a day. Do not skip meals for weight loss.

03/30/09 01:05 AM #55

Alesia Robinson

I'm up for the challenge. I work 48hr shifts, then I come home only to feel as if I'm working an additional 48hrs cleaning behind grown folks. My body is sooooo tired. I go in on Tuesday mornings 8am and get off Thursday morning. I say 10 lbs is fair. But I will be at 150 something. The devil is a liar.I can do 10 forget it I'm goin for 15 lol. Ok I'm at 166.5 my goal is 151.
Say a prayer for me. I live near a lot of resturaunts and the words free dinner & coupons is hard to turn down.

But on a more serious side the calss of "83" have had several to have heart attacks. I you get a chance go to thier web page and read Darryl Dandrege (?) profile on his experience. It's scary but he offer a bit of advice; exercise and stay healthy.

03/30/09 07:49 AM #57

Jacquelyn Parks

An older lady gave me some advice a few years back. She was having health problems. She was a little over weight. She said she started taking a little organic apple cider vinegar, warm water water and honey before each meal. She also walked every day. It doesn't matter how much walking as long as you walk she said. The doctor gave her a clean bill of health. She lost 40 lbs in 6 weeks. She has kept it off for over 10 years. The measurement on the vinegar is 1 teaspoon. Remember to eat 3 meals a day class of 84. I forgot to mention that the vinegar helps with high cholesterol and kills the fat.
