
Dan J. Moloney
Marion - Dan J. Moloney 55, 780 E. Church St. Marion, passed away Sunday morning March 10, 2002, at Marion General Hospital.
Son of Bernard and Elizabeth Moloney, deceased, and brother of William Moloney, deceased, he is survived by brother Thomas Moloney of Dayton, aunt Helen Bintz of Marion and close friend and companion Louise Vance of Marion.
Born Feb 25, 1947 Mr. Moloney was a 1965 graduate and president of his class at Marion Catholic High School, received a bachelor of arts degree from Saint Joseph's College in Indiana, and received a masters degree in poitical science from Bowling Green State University. He was owner of Moloney Books since 1996.
In the community, he was a member of the Friends of the Library, Knights of Columbus, Marion Merchants Association, the Whetstone Country Club and was a multiple-gallon blood donor to the American Red Cross.
He was an avid fan of the Ohio State University, the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and Marion Harding High School football and music programs.

A "Remembrance of Dan" reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Scotch & Sirloin, 1775 Marion-Waldo Road. Friends of Dan are asked to bring pictures and any stories they would like to share with his many friends. All are invited.
