Jim was a very quiet guy. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He lived on the same street as my cousin Danny Cusick and they would hang out together and sometimes I would tag along. (This gained me access to the guys at Pleasant!) It makes me sad to know that he has "moved on" and we didn't get to say good-bye! God Bless you Jim!
Jim and I were reunited in Columbus when we were both attending OSU off and on in the early 70's. We became roommates and had a good many laughs together. Jim (JD as he was known in the bars we used to frequent) remained just as we all knew him in high school, a gentleman and a very hard worker. He was quite the carpenter and such a perfectionist. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone.

I spoke with Jim at our 20th reunion and recall thinking that he was quite "hot" then, moreso because he was unassuming and not the least bit cocky. It seems that we heard not too long after that time that he had died (although my memory may not be entirely accurate).
It's often the "quiet" ones that we wish we had gotten to know better. And so the mystery remains until another time. Godspeed to you, Jim.
