Who doesn't remember John and the senior year retreat! He was a fun-loving "joker" of a guy! Always available for the next prank! No one deserves an ending such as he had. You will be missed but never forgotten. Peace and God bless you John!
It's a tough distinction to be the first one in a class to die. And to die at a young age, under tragic circumstances.
I never really got to know the fellow behind the prankster mask. John certainly created some legends that will live on in MCH history.
We all trust that you have hit your heavenly stride, John, and can watch over your fellow pranksters down here. Someday it will be our turn to sign in upstairs, so you better be there to greet us (but no tricks, please!)
John and I were fairly close in high school and to a lesser degree afterwards. We had a lot of good times and there were very few dull moments as you might imagine. What I remember and appreciate the most about John was his loyalty and his great love and devotion to his family. He seemed exceptionally close to Julie and would never leave the house without spending a few extra minutes with her. Her eyes always were a bit brighter when John was around.
