Didn't identify the classmates in each pictures because I didn't know some of the classmates from the other classes.  Most of the pictures were taken on Friday night because Tom Kurth & Joan Studts didn't take pictures on Saturday night.

 

 

 

 

Another activity that was available for classmates was a tour of the newly renovated MHS Roundhouse athletic facility.  The renovation includes pictures of all the champions from MHS from years before the Roundhouse was built.  There is an auxiliary gym and a awesome wrestling room.  The tour was given by Scott Smith, a math teacher & former coach at MHS.

 

A bus tour was offered as one of the events that the classmates could take part in.  Andrew Potter from the M'town Chamber led the tour of various landmarks in M'town that our classmates would be familiar with.  The tour stopped at the newly renovated Veterans Memorial Coliseum & went on a tour of the building.  It looks fantastic.

 

Jim Clark, who was a teacher at both Central & Anson Junior Highs, was brought to the reunion by Wayne Bannon from the Class of '64.  It was a real treat seeing Mr. Clark after so many years.  He is in his early 90's & still going strong.

 

On Saturday night the Class of "62 sang a song about reunions and how things have changed in Marshalltown since our days at MHS & how our bodies have changed in 60 years.  The lyrics to the "Ode to MHS" were written by Mary Kay Mason Middlekoop to the tune of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic.  They are really funny.  She did a really great job!!
