John Reibsamen
Chuck and I worked together as managers for MHS sports teams for two years.
Chuck was a truly good person, always fun to be around, always a hard worker.
We had some great times together. So sorry to learn he is gone.
John Reibsamen
Rex Lowe
Chuck was an early south side friend. We had some great times as boys together .
James Stewart
Chuck and I were child hood friends and were both on the Marshalltown Police Department together. Rest in peace my friend.
Richard Stanley
What a life of service Chuck had. He seems to have exemplified Ralph Waldo Emerson's lines about a life well lived:
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
...
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by
a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived;
This is to have succeeded.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
