George "Bill" Elliott 48, of 134 E. Main St. died of natural causes at his home Wednesday, Feb. 6. 1991 Funeral services are set for Friday at 1:30 P.M. from the Pursel-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Braack officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Born in Marshalltown on Feb. 3, 1943, he was the son of George and Helen Mettlin Elliott.  He was reared and educated in Marshalltown, graduating from Marshalltown High School.  He had worked at Haley's Grocery Store, and later moved to St. Petersburg, Fla., where he worked for the firm Peggy Jennings, Inc.  In the fall of 1990, he returned to Marshalltown.

Mr. Elliott is survived by his parents, George and Helen Elliott, Marshalltown. two brothers and a sister.  Richard Elliott, and Doris (Mrs Lawrence)  Westendorf, both of Marshalltown and Howard Elliott of Albuquerque, N.M., and several nieces and nephews.
