Dennis Thorp

Dennis Thorp lost his 3 year battle with Parkinson disease with Lewy Body dementia on February 5, 2015 in Frisco, Texas.  Dennis was born in Marshalltown, Iowa on August 25, 1944.  Dennis married Linda Westman Thorp on September 1, 1962.  Dennis was committed to his work and very much enjoyed and loved his family.  Dennis is survived by his wife, Linda; sons Darin Thorp and wife Marika, Scott and his wife Stacey Thorp; grandchildren Hannah and Christian Thorp; his brother Ronald Thorp and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Esther Thorp; brother Jerry Thorp; sister Janet Montgomery and grandchildren Zachary and Alexis Thorp.  Donations made be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association(www.lbda.org) in Dennis Thorp's name.

Graveside services will be held  February 21, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville Texas.

I was so sorry to hear about Dennis.  I didn't know he had been ill for a few years.  My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.  It looks like you have a great family to lean on in this time of sorrow.

Linda I am so sorry about Dennis. We have been passing the word. So you have a lot of thoughts and prayers coming your way as are mine. Alot of prayers on the 21. Talk with John yesterday to tell him and he was so happy to be able to visit with you guys when he was in Texas. God Bless you.
