Well, I hung around Martinsville for a while trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up....sold insurance, bartended, then joined the Air Force in 1992. Went to Texas, Missouri, then Florida as a mobile radar technician. Spent a hectic night on the road driving a 5-ton truck in a convoy to Tampa, FL to escape Miami, FL that was getting ready to be eaten by Hurricane Andrew. Got married, lived in Panama City for a few years, survived Hurricane Opal, got my GI bill, then left the Air Force. Moved to Germany, and had my daughter Mikala....it was so wonderful! Spent 4 years in Germany just being a mom and traveling. Came to Utah in 2003. Divorced, and got a bachelors degree in business while working as a paralegal for Iomega and being a single co-parent. Iomega moved to CA, so started working at Northrop Grumman as systems engineer for the ICBM missile contract. Remarried, have 2 more beautiful babies....Sara and Luke. I quit work last year after Luke was born to stay home with my babies. Have been doing some computer work, fixing up the house, and quilting in my free time (which isn't much with a 1-yr-old and a 3-yr-old!) My husband (the Redneck Rocket Scientist) is from Virginia and talks like one too! He is retired from the Air Force, and now a senior systems engineer for Northrop Grumman. Yes, he really is a nuclear rocket scientist....and he really does say y'all, alot! We are actually in the middle of trying to sell our house in Utah to relocate to the central coast of California where he has accepted a promotion to be the Test Launch Site Manager for the ICBM missiles. We will be moving to the Vandenburg AFB area, within the next 10 months.
