15 years later.....
Husband and I are empty nesters. We still live in Brownsburg. I teach 2nd grade in Plainfield, this will be my 16th year of teaching! I cannot believe we graduated HS 35 years ago!
After graduation I put college on hold to marry and have children. We have lived in Martinsville, Greenwood, back to Martinsville then to Brownsburg 11 years ago. I worked part time around Brad's work schedule so I could stay at home and do the Mom thing. I worked for 2 companies that went bankrupt and a company that shipped my job to the Phillipines. At that point I decided to return to school to complete my degree. I returned to school 3 years ago. 19 years and 50 weeks after I graduated from high school I completed my Elementary Education degree at IUPUI! I will begin teaching 5th grade here in Brownsburg next month. Our girls are very active in sports and various clubs. They keep us very busy.
