Pam and I moved to Lee's Summit MO in 2015. We were able to downsize and be closer to our six grandchildren. I retired from full time work in 2014, but returned to work three days a week in 2015. It is a schedule I enjoy.

Sandra Schultes

 

Sandra Ann Talbot Schultes, 46, Littleton, Colo, died May 30, 1995 at Swedish Medical Center, Littleton, Colo.  Her death resulted from complications following aneurysm Surgery.  She had been ill 10 Days.

Services were at 2 PM, Saturday, June 3.  At the United Methodist Church.   The Rev. Gerlad Schwab Officiated

Burial was in the Marysville Cemetary.  Arrangements were by Kinsley Mortuary.

Linda Schwab, Accompanied by Gail Gilkerson sang “Old Rugged Cross” and “On Eagles’ Wings” 

Pall bears were Jim Schramm Jr., Bob Larkin, Jerry Pope, Richard Dummermuth, David Mayer and Jack Ferguson.

She was born in Marysville Oct 26, 1948, the daughter of Roy and Aleta Stone Talbot.  She graduated from MHS in 1966 and from Clark’s School of Business in Salina.

While living in Topeka, she worked for the Water Resources Board of the State of Kansas.  In the Denver Area she worked several places including Prudential Insurance, a lawn irrigation firm, and some free-lance work all secretarial. 

She suffered a stroke in April 1990 which left her left side partially incapacitated.

She was a member the United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death where her parents; two brothers, Donald Talbot in 1952 and Richard Talbot in 1994. 

Survivers are her husband, of the home in Littleton, Colo, her mother Aleta Talbot, Marysville, and a brother Thomas W Talbot.

Judy Kay Stowell Figge

Born: November 29, 1948
Died: September 25, 2012

 

ONAGA – Judy Kay Stowell Figge, 63, of Onaga, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the East Ridge Nursing Facility in Centralia.

She was born November 29, 1948 in Marysville, the daughter of Claude and Alice Feldhausen Stowell. She attended school in Marysville, graduating in 1966.

Judy worked at the Onaga Sale Barn, Golden Acres Nursing Facility and Onaga Country Mart.

She volunteered at the Onaga Community Hospital and served on the Onaga Community Center Board. Judy was actively involved in 4-H the past forty years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s activities, never missing a day of the Pottawatomie County Fair, watching her grandkids show their livestock.

Judy was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Wheaton 

She married Argyl E. Figge on September 9, 1967 at Marysville and moved to Onaga. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2009. Judy was also preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her two children, a son, Darrin Figge and wife Gayla, and a daughter, Carmen D‘Aloia and husband Kevin, all of Onaga, four grandchildren, Breanna and Tharrin D’Aloia, and Tyree and Delaney Figge, her step-father, Kenneth Schwarz, Marysville, five step-brothers, one step-sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29th at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Wheaton. Burial will follow in St. Luke South Cemetery. Judy will lie in state after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga, where family and friends will meet from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 312, Onaga 66521.

Dianna Kay Figge, 56, Onaga, died Sunday, May 23, 2004 at Onaga Community Hospital.

A service at 2p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wheaton. Burial was in the St. Luke Lutheran South Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Davis officiated.

Dianna Kay Figge was born Feb. 5, 1948, in Marysville, the daughter of Herbert Koeneke and Helen Rettig Koeneke. She attended schools in the Marysville area where she graduated in 1966. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wheaton, a Sunday school teacher for 18 years and a member of the choir.

She married Lavern Figge on June 8, 1968, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Marysville. They ran a dairy operation.

Figge is survived by her husband; three sons, Keith Figge and Brian Figge, both of Onaga, and Alex Figge, Wheaton; her mother; one sister Rosetta Jacobson, Clay Center; one brother, Dennis Koeneke, Marysville.

Her father preceded her in death in 1997.

Memorials have been established to the Onaga Public Library for children's books or to St. Luke Lutheran Church Choir. Contributions may be sent in care of Kufahl Funeral Home, 307 Center St., Wheaton, KS 66551.
