Hey everyone,
I love the pictures from the reunion! It looks like you all had a great time. I wished that I could have been there. It looks like some people hid from the camera though. I didn't see Bobby for one. I'm sure there is some more.

Later.......

Jane

Glad to see everyone chatting away on the forum.
Thanks, Susan, for all the effort on the website. Or should I just complement you on having great ideas and your ability to skirt child labor laws in order to make them happen?
C'mon, Roger! You'll have to do better than that on recalling Fairview alums. How about Dale Abernathy, George Amburn, Debbie Blankenship, Lynda Cook, Donna Hitson, Linda McLemore, Lynn Olive, Linda Porter, Cindy Richesin, and, well, me? And I've no doubt forgotten quite a few.
Hope everyone is doing well. Don't forget to laugh every day. God didn't put us here to be miserable.

Thanks for the birthday greetings. I did have a pleasant day. Hey, Danny, I just left Linda McLemore. She goes to church with me, and we usually eat out together after church on Wednesday night. Diane, how did Lydia get along at church today? I love to sit and hold a baby. They are sooooooo very sweet. Have a great week everyone.

Susan D. I have a question. Why do some people call Mark Payne Mark Harmon?
Carolyn, I am so glad you spoke to me at the Maryville College Craft Fair. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with you.
Mike Thomas, how you feelin buddy?

We really need to encourage Liz L. to still talk on the forum. Well, I better get to work before the boss find me on line. Jane, called me at 9058. Kay, Happy Belated Birthday.
Danny, shhhhh....child labor law? (she doesn't know/understand about that yet! lol) But actually, she did give some lessons so after she left I had to change a bunch of her captions...She also said to me.....SO MUCH TO TEACH YOU! She even made me take notes this time!
Sandy, Mark Harmon Payne - During the 25 year reunion we collected emails and then one Friday night we saw Mark at dinner with his mother and son, Matt. Because his email address is HarpoMark, for some reason (no alcohol involved)I said, "There is Mark Harmon!" Well, big laugh and I have never lived it down! We now have called him Mark Harmon for so long that Diane Welch says anytime she sees the last name "Harmon" she wonders if they are some of Mark's relatives. The End.

Susan DJ - Great job on the website and 35 year reunion slide show. Won't mention child labor laws if no one else does.

Roger - no offense taken. I guess I just got wrinkled up in your brain somewhere haha (I hope you know I'm just kidding) By the way, someone at the reunion was asking me about Wayne. Where is he? His brother Jerry tried to drown me at the pool one summer. Never did like having my head held in under water. I did see Jeff (can't remember his last name, guess it's wrinkled in my brain somewhere) at Blount Memorial Hospital several years ago and he recognized me and asked me if I was who I am (but then I think he went to Maryville).

Danny - thanks for adding to the list. Debbie Long also went to Fairview and was a good friend of mine. Dale is working here at UT, and I see him every now and then. I'm sure there are more but I can't think of any without going back and looking at annuals. Clarinda says that she still sees Mr. Kidd and his wife at times.

Enough reminiscing (had to look that one up without spell check).

Roger,

All these years I thought you went to Eagleton before Everett. It is amazing how many schools came together to form good ole EHS!!!

Sandy Whaley (Baker)

Hey Everybody,

I am alive and kicking in Virginia. I am so busy right now. Working at school, working at Brewmasters and taking a couple college classes, so I have been playing catch up since my surgery. But I am doing just great!

Jane Loftis......Hello! Great to see you chatting and I will answer you anytime!

Liz.....It was great to see you on the forum. How are you?

Mike Thomas...We just talked on the phone, but I wanted to update everyone and say he is doing fine!

John Henry S.......It was fun dating you back at Everett, but I don't think it would work out now! I know, my loss!

Sandy SD.....Hi Pokey! So I bet you are coming with me to the next reunion! Right! See how much fun you missed - we missed you!

Susan JD...You know the website is wonderful.

Roger, Roger, Roger!

I was a Bungalow Jet! That list would include Nancy Hurst, Connie Talbott, Sandy McClemore, Trenia Thomas - anybody else out there!

Have a great day! Sandy Kaye

Danny: Man am I embarassed. So many people from Fairview went to Everett. I remember I had a choice of either Maryville or Everett. Even back then I couldn't imagine going to Murvul! I do see Donna Hitson once in a GREAT while when I order flowers.

Are we going to do a reunion next year?

10/20/08 10:15 PM #449

Susan DeLozier

I forgot to tell everyone, did you notice that Linda Braden ALbert has her very own tab to the left? That includes all her articles as they are of good ole EHS!

Does anyone have some pictures of the 30 year class reunion that was at Boonedocks Grill? and the 25 at the Greenbelt? If so, can you send some to me, please?

Reunion next year? What does everyone think? Yes/No, where? Who wants to be the committee?

10/21/08 01:09 PM #450

Danny Sparks

Susan, I think you, Debbie, and Diane should assume all responsibilities for organizing a reunion next year and the rest of us should wait until the day before to tell you whether we're coming or not. Why mess with a winning formula?

Susan Jane Loftis (Gracia)

Hello everyone!
I've been listening to all of you talking of maybe having a reunion next year....I didn't get to come this year, but would hope to come to the next one.

I would like to offer my assistance with the reunion whenever it is. I would have helped before if someone had asked me. I like to plan events. Just let me know.

Every body be cool and be safe!

Jane

Jane, that is awesome....why don't you be in charge of the next one? I just love those that volunteer!!!! Go VOLS!
Thanks Danny, you have always been so supportive with all the reunions.
I am not sure where I will be next year....so I am not making any promises....love ya guys

10/22/08 08:46 AM #455

Susan Jane Loftis (Gracia)

Hey Susan,
Hold on.....I didn't say I'd be in charge! I wouldn't know enough to be in charge unless you taught me, only if you weren't going to be here and if someone else didn't want to be in charge! We can talk more about it in person, ok?

I promise I will get that project to you very soon. I've been very busy. Have a great day!

Jane

Hey gang, Just wanted to say I'm for another get together. Maybe we can have a cook out or something? It looks like I'm going to have to buy a new computer so I hope I can find one I like. Be glad to get back on line. I keep checking the forum on my friend's computer at Work.
so don't say anything bad I be watching.

10/22/08 04:12 PM #457

Kathy Phillips (McBride)

I think a cookout sounds great. I would also be glad to help out.

Diane Welch (Welch)

Hello from North Carolina

Hope everyone is well. I am going home to Tennessee on Sunday, will be home a week and then come back over to Shanna's Halloween weekend with my son, Josh. After that weekend I should be home for awhile. A cookout sounds good, if we don't wait too late you know before we get the big snow we are "due for." Lydia by the way is wonderful.... Gramma dew

Debbie Pickel (Harper)

Hey guys! Throw me in on the 'help' list for the cookout! By help I mean...you tell me, point me in the right direction, & I will obey. haha....I am in Japan this week, so I haven't had time to write or read any of the comments until now...I just love how we are all continuing to communicate on this board!! It's like a newly-found family! It's nice to have friends that know "where ya came from"...makes a special bond! Love everyone!
