I knew I'd think of it. Mrs. Bolton, the science teacher.

I've been covering my gray for years...go to wally world & pick out the one I want ...I'm always dissapointed that the color may be fairly close, but my face doesn't change & looks nothing like the one on the box...

Bobby, with getting your hair & nails done, have you found the perfect little black dress?

Hi back to you, Linda Braden Albert!

Cindy & I wish all of you a FANTASTIC time at the reunion; sure would like to be there. On the other hand, Bobby, I'm really not sure I ever imagined you getting your hair & nails done, and the little black dress thing...hmm, who knew? (you do know I'm kidding, right?)

And yes, I stole a couple of A&W mugs, also. Do they still have glass mugs?

I'm a little disturbed at the thoughts of Bobby in a little black dress ...

Debbie Pickel (Harper)

Well, I drive to good ole Murvulle 1x per month to take care of the gray hair thing! Sort of hurts the ole pocketbook, but it's a priority! I'm really worried though how I will get there for the 2043 reunion. Bobby, I hope your nails do not clash with what you wear! Of course, if you wear the little black dress...well, black goes with everything, so you'll be okay. Gary, maybe we can sell our A&W root beer mugs on Ebay! On 2nd thought, I just couldn't part with it...too many memories!

This is going to be one crazy reunion. Yes,Gary they still have glass mugs, but they are not as big as they were. I'll try to e-mail you with a report on how things go. We are going to miss you guys. Maybe you can come up and we can plan a cook out or somthing. Keep in tough.

i refer to my hair as salt and pepper instead of gray

Sandy Smith (Dockery)

Its so much fun reading all these messages! (Linda, I too am addicted to exclamation marks!!!)
Covering gray or salt n'pepper is easier than covering fat. Who all is starving themselves until the reunion. I am not attending the reunion so I just pigged out at Pancho's!
Time for my seista.

black can be quite becoming...covering up those extra inches, bulges, etc--NOT fat!!! our entire office wore black a few months ago to "celebrate" one of my docs 40th birthday (yes, he's just a baby) ---several patients were quite complimentary--referred to us as the black crows! we did look quite slim!!!

Yes, my goal is to lose 50 lbs by Saturday. Wish me luck.

Kathy, I've never known you not to meet your goals!

My husband and I were talking about this website. I told him about John Henry Sebastian's profile and how I had e-mailed Mr. Sebastian letting him know that he had a "typo" in spelling his hometown Dubai, Arabia in his profile listing. I also told Charles, my husband, that Mr. Sebastian listed several wives and many children.
The oddest thing I found in his profile was his comment about his favorite funny story was that he was in the annual. Look him up folks! He has 3 listings in the directory but no photographs. Thats when my husband said wait, that name sounds familiar. Of course it sounds familiar to all of us because John Sebastian is a performer that had some great songs out while we were in high school. (I guess there are benefits in being married to an older ex-rock & roller)
WELL DONE ANNUAL STAFF OR WHOMEVER SNEAKED THIS IN!!!!!!
See web info below:

I do actually know all about the "birth" of John Henry Sebastian . . . but I've been sworn to secrecy until the year 2043.

08/29/08 01:12 PM #74

Linda Braden (Albert)

OK, folks, in the words of my son-in-law, "I smell a farce." Gary's in on it, and I strongly suspect Bobby is, too, since he was telling me at length about our photo-free and child-prolific "classmate." Well done!
I am neither covering my gray nor attempting to disguise my fat, as much as I would like to do so - although I will be wearing black just because I want to. Kathy, if you do figure out how to lose 50 pounds before Saturday, let me know. Of course, anything consumed at Sullivan's Saturday night is calorie-free, right?

Uh Oh! I may have ruined a great surprise at the reunion. Can you see it now-Bobby dressed (not in his little black dress) but in a turbin with 7 wives on his arm? OR someone dressed as entertainer John Sebastian lipsyncing one of Sebastians songs for entertainment. Either character may be chaueffer driven in a stretch limo by one of our classmates that owns a limo service.

Hey Linda, maybe I can get a job at the newspaper as an "investigative reporter." Ha-Ha! (there goes that !!!compulsion again.) Would I have to color the grey in my hair as the paginator classmate did? Ha-Ha

Sorry if I ruined the fun for anyone.

Bobby, Susan you're too quiet.

Sandy, Thank you for your message, you are the only one that caught the typo of Abu Dhabi.....however, Abu Dhabi and Dubai are two different cities in the United Arab Emirates with Abu Dhabi being the capital. Just wanted to clear up that matter. Sorry you won't be at the reunion....I will miss seeing you...

08/29/08 03:24 PM #77

Sandy Smith (Dockery)

My apologies for this oversight.
I will miss seeing you at the reunion also.

Linda Braden (Albert)

Sandy, I'm in a room full of whippersnappers over here. Many of them I could have given birth to - some call me "mom" and some are responsible for the gray hair that my birth children didn't manage to give me! Our other classmate is across the hall so she doesn't count in this group.
I'm bringing a camera Saturday so don't be surprised if a stray shot ends up in the paper, along with an investigate report on Mr. Sebastian. We can have a double byline for the "story." How's that?

08/29/08 04:37 PM #79

Susan DeLozier

Sandy and Linda, I think this is a great idea and I think that Sandy deserves the credit for her investigation in your article....What a hoot! John Henry has called and said that he has a very important meeting tomorrow and he and his wives cannot make it (he really was going to be there). And he wanted me to make sure to tell Sandy that she has a job with him any time she wants doing the investigation thing. Sounds like a future to me.....

New Career at My Age? Oh, Arabia is so far away. What do I do? Please help me by giving the pro's and the con's of this possible future.

Linda, thanks for taking the camera. I only get the weekend paper so please let me know when the photo might run.

To whomever is the webmaster: you have arranged a terrific site. THANKS!

1973 - I can't believe we're now 53!
My dark hair is now grey and I've had a good life along the way.
As you may have guessed, I am very blessed!
Hello and best wishes on this date from this classmate as you celebrate!

Much talk about what everyone is wearing to the party. I for one, am going comfortable, maybe jeans, maybe capris and maybe even capri jeans or my streach knit pants that will expand as the night goes on, (as my fat expands). Be comfortable....its more fun. See ya in a few hours....

It's 1 am, and I can't sleep for thinking about all of the great fun I had tonight at the reunion! Again, I want to thank the ones that worked so hard to put this together! I realized tonight how blessed I am to have graduated with so many wonderful, caring, and crazy...did I say crazy?...folks! I had a ball tonight, and I'm looking forward to that cruise!!!
