I attended college in Murfreesboro, TN at Middle Tennessee State University. I met my husband while in college, married, and settled in Murfreesboro. I taught physical education for 34 years (preK - 8) and retired in 2009. I have twin boys that are 33 years old. Both children are married and I have two grandchildren (Thomas Alexander (Alex) and Andrea Bailey) and another on the way (Beau Thomas) - due in August, 2011.
School Story:

Many wonderful memories from the school plays such as Bye Bye Birdie, The Wizard of Oz, and the Princess and the Pea. Enjoyed being a cheerleader and serving as the captain of the squad for Serra High School from 1969-1970. Loved attending all the football and basketball games and the many Saturday night dances held in the gymnasium at Serra High School. I have remained close friends with Fr. Kieran Monahan, who came to Tennesee to marry me in 1974. Fr. Kieran was also with me when my twin brother (Reverend George Michael Bercik class of 1970) died in 2009.

Shown here are three graduates of either St. Peter's or Serra High Schools. Pictured with me (Milbrey Bercik Campbell 1970) are my twin brother, Reverend George Michael Becik O.F.M. 1970, now deceased, and my brother, Fred Bercik 1980. This picture was taken at St. Christopher's Friary in the North End of Boston (Aug. 2009). This is where Mike resided during his illness and eventual death. Fr. Kieran Monohan also resides here. Other Friars residing at or near this Friary, with Serra ties, are: Fr. Brennan, Fr. Antonio, and Fr. Claude just to name a few. The Friars were such a comfort during our visits with Mike and during his last days. It was also a lot of fun remembering the "good old days".
