     Greetings to you Robbin! I thank you and Margie for your words of

  encouragement. Most of us probably haven't been to Chucalisa, since

we were children. Bonnie mentioned that Debra Harris's father

worked as a park ranger at T.O. Fuller back in the day. Bonnie made a

visit to the Indian Village as a student at Georgia Ave.

     When it comes to being Senior, at our age, I do resemble that

remark, but we've been blessed to endure. I wear the name proudly.

The information posted is exactly for the benefit of everyone, mobile or

not. Just a way to keep everyone's spirits uplifted. May you and the

remainder of our class be blessed with a good mind and body also, as

we look forward to tomorrow, if it's Jehovah God's will. It's always

     Bountiful Blessings unto you, Curtis Farmer and Cloyd Nightingale! It's not

every day someone gets an opportunity to celebrate Two Cheyenne Chiefs, a

Noble Person, and a Noble Esquire on the same day. While searching

wishesquotes.com, I found one of the greatest quotes to refer to you

gentleman. I'm sure there has to be someone else who agrees with me today. 

     "You have touched the lives of countless people and moved so many with

your selfless acts. Good people like you are the reason we continue to celebrate

birthdays. May your special day be filled with happiness." Curtis, one day

I'll ask you to explain how you maintained those gold stripes in the early 70's

US Navy, for 20 years. Incredible accomplishment by far. Cloyd, thanks for

your gardening support, especially concerning cutworms. They're treacherous.

     Today, the Thought For Consideration significantly summarizes the

unselfish character that you guys possess. We are the needy debtors of grace

and mercy in this real life, as we continuously receive blessings each day.

Continue to make choices, as described in Proverbs 8:10 - Choose discipline

over silver and knowledge over the finest gold. As you gentleman celebrate

today or choose not to, I wish you a Chris Standring type of event. May you

     Good tidings to you upon this day Darryll. Biblically speaking in

times past, if the baby born was a boy, the father would be hailed with

a word meaning “good tidings.” For example, “Fear not: for behold, I

bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.”  When

asked, Of good tidings, I hope? Your father probably replied yes, yes

indeed, with a hugh grin on his face. Congratulations to you upon

achieving another milestone. Blessings of grace and mercy are always

welcomed with full meditations at our age.

eradication of the black male and female species...Too few rejoice at

a friend's good fortune. It is in the character of very few

     Cheerful regards to you Carolyn Parker Gunn. An article written in

Psychology Today, indicates very few people would consider 55 to be

old. In fact, few would consider 65 or even 70 to be “old age.” That's

because people are living longer, more vibrantly, and more actively

than ever before. This has given rise to a brand new stage of

lifevariably called the second middle age, the new middle age, or the

second adulthood. Psychologist Jerrold Lee Shapiro, in his book

Finding Meaning, Facing Fears, calls this period of life the “Autumn

Years.” Like autumn, it can be a colorful time filled with great beauty.

You've been retired now for eleven years and have vibrantly achieved

another milestone. 

     As Gail Sheehy stated, "If every day is an awakening, you will

never grow old. You will just keep growing".... Consider today as

your  official welcome to a beautiful autumn day, also known as the

second adulthood! Paulo Coelho, a Brazilian lyricist and novelist said

"There is no better time than the autumn to begin forgetting the

things that trouble us, allowing them to fall away like dried leaves".

As you're celebrating this resurrection of your second adulthood, I

wish you a Julian Vaughn type of day. Know that the gratitutious

blessings received throughout this year were always formulated as gifts

for your Breakthrough. There is no better time than the autumn to

Not many know this, but in times when slavery existed, runaway slaves and

freed blacks settled near Native American communities. Blacks and Native

Americans intermingled, and intermarried. They gave birth to a new group,

the African-Native Americans. This new group quickly assimilated into the

Native American culture. African-Native Americans served many important

roles in the Native American community. They took on high positions such as

advisors, interpreters, field hands, and warriors, alongside their purebred

Native American counterparts. With this newly found sense of esteem, blacks

were able to own land, as tenant farmers, in which they paid harvest tribute to

the Chiefs of the villages, take part in everyday Native American rituals, and

learn the way of the Native-American lifestyle.

     John Horse is a perfect example of a Black Seminole taking on

leadership roles in their tribe. He served as a right-hand advisor to the

chief. His story in significant because he led his tribe from Florida to

Mexico in search of freedom from oppressors, and open land. He also

led Seminal warriors in the defeat of US generals. He is one of many

famous Black Seminoles who are often overlooked, but served their

people wholeheartedly.
