Since I graduated I went to the U of M for one year and decided I needed to see another part of the world. So, I transferred to Eastern New Mexico University and received my Bachelors of Music Education (Instrumental) Degree. From there I taught two years as an assistant in South Texas at Weslaco East High School. My third year of teaching I was offered the Head position at Bloomfield HS in Bloomfield, NM. The year after that an opening came up in Muleshoe, TX for the Head Director and went for and got it. Muleshoe is only about 35 miles away from my wife's family and you know how that goes when you have children! This is my 3rd year at Muleshoe. I can't believe that I've been teaching for so long now and that I have been away from Craigmont for over 10 years.

All I have to say is Junior High Orchestra room and permanent cheese! Good times! The band program at Craigmont made me who I am today.
