Mack Kearney

In 1959 we moved back to Memphis and I finished my Junior and Senior years there. It took the first year to find my way around being from a smaller Tennessee town, Clarksville. My senior year was a blast finding myself more devoted to the weekends than the school work during the week. I was in Blanche Millard's homeroom; I can remember Mr. Counce POD class at 1PM and my sleeping through a lot of it. I also remember study halls with Coaches Floyd and Spiers paddling me. I did manage to graduate and that was a great accomplishment. Playing on the golf team with Dyer, Lightman, Tyson and Dlugach was great. WSHS was so much fun.

Finding a great wife in Dottie and raising our children. I became a Christian as we were getting married and after 13 years found myself in the ministry moving to the DFW, TX area. After six years we moved to England and Europe to start a ministry that is now called Gospel Harvesters International, which has 45 missionaries under its umbrella in various parts of the world. Most people in our class would remember me as a wild kid looking to have a great time. As my life settled down I found fulfillment and a lot of riches in my marriage, children and meeting wonderful people preaching and traveling across the world in some 35 countries.
