After graduating from South Side, I moved to Florence Al where my parents had moved during my senior year. (Yes, we found them!!) I went to undergraduate school at the then Florence State College which is now University of North Alabama and graduate school at Auburn University. Besides teaching I did a stint in television reporting, anchoring, and directing.

David and I lived in Dallas Texas for 17 years and then moved to Charlottesville VA - again for 17 years.
In 2016 we moved to the Auburn/Opelika Alabama area, where we now reside. Loving the football and basketball games, making new friends and being closer to the grandsons who live in Cumming GA. - Luke 16, Eli 15, Carter 13.
School Story

Loved the times on the newspaper staff, cracking jokes with Jerry Hankins. Non repeatable - probably because they weren't that memorable!!

Dear All,
Judy Phillips Ready passed away on August 26, 2024 in Tupelo MS. You can read her obituary on the Holland Funeral Home website.
For those of you who are on the fence about attending this year's reunion, please consider that this is
likely the final formal gathering of our class. Please come so we can celebrate each other and those who have gone before us.
