Hi Susan, I hope ;your birthday went better than mine yesterday. Around 8 am I decided to make a homemade cranberry sauce. The blender was on a shelf too high to reach. In stead of pulling out a small step ladder I used an extended gripping device to drag it a catch it as it falls. Unfortunately it hit some soup cans on another shelf and everything came do at once. My dexterity isn't what it used to be and I missed everything. A soup can hit me above my left eye and another hit my toes on my left foot. I split my eyebrow about an inch long. It took over an hour to pinch it together to stop the bleeding and ice after that. I'm fine but I'm amazed at how dumb I can still be after all these years. :) I have two bruised toes as well even after icing them. Use the step ladder that was sitting two feet away. Lesson learned.
