Since Graduation, very busy raising our family, People ask me how I got started cake decorating, I had 4 kids in 5 years and needed a night out! Really started to make birthday cakes for the kids. In 1997 we opened a family owned bakery in town named StoneHouse fine cakes & pastries. Sold the business in 2007 and built an addition on to our house. Notable cakes made over the years. 1990 5 tier wedding cake prop used for a skit on the David Letterman Show, Prop cake used for a National Hebrew Commercial, Birthday cakes for past Gov. O'Neill wife Nicki, Senator Liberman's 60th, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro's 60th. Presentation Cakes for Mayor Joseph DeStephano, Coloratura Soprano Roberta Peters, Kitty Carlisle, Rep. Dick Foley, The Amistad Gala, a replica of the White House for an inaugural party at Yale.I've cut back but I am still decorating. When I'm not working I enjoy the grand kids, working in my flower gardens, playing dominos and when I can, cruising.
