Tired of drilling holes in bowling balls Tony Ledonne inspired me to join the Air Force. His whole band joined. I was an Air Traffic Controller for four years in Columbus MS. I pumped gas and flight instructed on the side. My son and daughter were born in Columbus. After the service I attended Mississippi State for a year and a half then got a job flying for Purolator Air freight and moved to Hattisburg MS where I graduated from Southern Mississippi with a BS in accounting. I was then hired by Tennessee Airways flying out of Lexington KY for 4 mos. then spent two and a half glorious years in Kingsport TN(upper east TN). Hired by Republic Airlines in 1986 and moved to Memphis. Republic merged with Northwes Airlines shortly after I was hired. Was divorced around 1998 and moved onto a houseboat. I lived on the boat for about 3 years. I thought I'd be on the boat for about six months, after 3 years I came off kicking and screaming. It was fun. Now I reside in Michigan. Retirement can't come soon enough. I'm not sure I'm up for another merger but rumor has it I might retire a Delta pilot. If any of you are in the neighborhood please call, I'd love to see you!
