School Story:

Worked through high school so never attended a football game, dance, etc. Was rather a misfit.

Impressed upon my girls to experience everything that they could in HS since there are no "do overs".

Was diagnosed with breast cancer in Oct. 2009. Had 8 chemo treatments and 35 radiation treatments ending in June 2010. Was diagnosed AGAIN in November 2010. Had 11 surgeries between November 19 and January 12 and am currently undergoing chemo again. Thank goodness the recurrence was localized and had not metastasized.
I have met many wonderful people during this journey and feel blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.

I am sad to inform you that my mom passed away on Feb. 11, 2012. I know she was grateful to reconnect with some of her highschool friends through this sight. Nicki

February 2010 during my first round of chemo. I look like this again this year. :-)
