Message from Peggy Woodward Miller:
I am sorry to say that my husband, Rodger Miller, of 52 years, and best friend for 57 years, passed away January 30, 2025. He was given the trial of 3 different cancers during his life. The last one, myxoid sarcoma, just couldn't be stopped. He fought valiantly for a little over 3 years and suffered through 9 different surgeries to try to stop this deadly cancer. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Woodward Miller, and his three sons, their wives and 6 grandchildren. He will be missed forever.

Dear Cousin, so sorry to hear about Roger. Sad that we don't have much communications between our family members, but our love and connection still remains. So many good memories of you and Rodger dating. It was a great time in our lives and my sisters and I send our love and thoughts. Take care, we love you.

Peggy - I'm sorry to hear of your loss. What a great thing that you had so long together on this earth and will be together again. May your sorrow ease as soon as possible.

Dear Peggy,
I'm sorry to hear that Roger had to battle 3 cancers, but it sounds like he was up for the fight like my husband was. I respect that so much and don't know if I could do that battle. What an accomplishment, best friends for 57 years, congratulations! That is the part that never dies.
I have thought of you so many times over the years and wished that we had a chance to remember when we were best friends in 3rd & 4th grade, playing jump rope and hopscotch and racing each other in reading the 10 volumn Bible Stories that our parents bought. You won the race and it gave me a whole new perspective! I still have those Bible Stories although some of the volumns are missing. I think of you every time I read it and look at the beautiful pictures.

Peggy, sorry for your loss, it's hard to loose the love of your life. We shared a love for football and spent some great times together on the field. I wish the best for your family dealing with his loss may God bless.Sterling Jenson
Peggy, You and Rodger bring back so many fond memories of our high school experience. Rodger and I stood next to each other on the football field - he was the starting center and I was the left guard. We had quite a run in an undefeated season until the quarterfinals in the state playoffs. Rodger was so chill and was so determined to be the best at his position even though both he and I were undersized for the line, especially comparted to Tony Brunetti, Randy Gerona and Scott Sharp. I send my sincere best wishes to you as you now face life without Rodger. He was a great friend and will be missed by all of us Huskies.

Oh Peggy, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Fifty-two years of marriage is so great...and not nearly long enough. Thinking of you and wishing you well.
