      Mike died at home on December 26, 1999.  He was a self-employed sales representative in audio distributions and associated with Cerwin-Vega and Gemini Audio for many years.  A member of the NJ State Enforcement Officers Association, he was active with the Maplewood Auxiliary Police and had been active with the Millburn Auxiliary Police.  Mike was a member of the American Legion Guy R. Bosworth Post 140 in Millburn.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications in 1976 from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ.  He was born in Newark and moved to Millburn.  His parents, Michael and Marie Anastasio; a brother, Robert; and his fiancée, Joanna Buczkowska survived him.
