Valentina F. Gascu

Valentina F. (Gascu) Noble of Linden, N.J., died Monday, July 1, 2013, in Overlook Medical Center, Summit, N.J. Visiting hours will be held in the Werson Funeral Home, 635 No. Wood Ave., Linden, N.J., on Sunday, July 7, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Monday, July 8, at 9 a.m. from the Werson Funeral Home, Linden, with a funeral service in the "Evangel Church of Scotch Plains" at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J. Born in Bucharest, Romania, Valentina came to the United States in 1968 settling in Florham Park, N.J. She resided in Linden for the past 30 years. She received two bachelor's degrees from Kean University in Union, the first one was in business management and the second one was in psychology. She was a member of an amputee support group at Kessler Institute in West Orange, N.J. She was also a member of various PTAs and the "Evangel Church of Scotch Plains" and its Epics-Women's Ministries and Vacation Bible School She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gerard J. Noble; her daughter, Ana-Marie Noble and her mother, Aneta Gascu. In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the "Evangel Church," Terrill Road, Scotch Plains, N.J., in her memory would be appreciated.
