Custer High School no longer exists. It is now the School Of Career And Technical Education (SCTE) and Barack Obama K-8 School.

School Of Career And Technical Education

The School of Career and Technical Education (SCTE) is a project-based learning school that serves students in grade 6-12. Formerly Custer High School, SCTE prepares students to be college and career ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century by focusing on two career pathways, known as Career Clusters, in new technology: Advanced Manufacturing and Energy Conservation. The development of problem-solving, higher thinking and critical thinking skills enables students to understand and participate in our global society. SCTE will provide a rigorous curriculum that will increase student achievement at the 6-12 grade levels and prepare students to participate in society by empowering them with lifelong learning and communication skills.

Barack Obama K-8 School

The 35th Street Elementary School moved to the former Custer campus and the name changed to Barack Obama K-8 School. The school is a K4-8 traditional, neighborhood school that fosters an educational environment that aligns curriculum and instruction to specific learning goals and the common core standards.
