I met Art in our first year at Custer, our Sophomore year. We started dating shortly after and became engaged in our Junior year. We broke up in the summer between our Junior and Senior year. We had a little over two years of wonderful times together. Crusing around Custer in his car, wearing matching shirts, going to and having parties, and doing all the fun things that teenagers did back then. He was a very kind, low key and soft spoken guy and came from a TERRIFIC family, whom I remained very close to until I married and moved to Colorado. I know that he married Karen Seebeck, who was also a member of our graduation class. I never heard anything about them and they never came to our Class of 63 Tenth and Twentieth Reunions.
I was so saddened and shocked to hear of Art's early death. My close friend Helen called me when she read his obituary in the paper so I don't know what the cause of death was. If anyone knows please respond on this page as I have always wondered through out these years. Art pretty much only hung around with the few close friends that he had from his prior school and wasn't active in any sports or clubs so many might not even remember him. But he was VERY SPECIAL TO ME....
