My precious and lifelong friend, Lindy, passed away at her home in Wausau WI in April of 2004. Linda had just moved back to Wisconsin from St. Louis Missouri where she was an engineer for the Emerson motors company. She was our maid of honor, our son, Erich's, godmother and a so loved "aunt" of our daughter, Beth. Her wry and warm sense of humor, and dedication to family set examples to all who were lucky enough to know her.
I am posting this photo of Linda Wolf (left) and MY lifelong friend, Connie Holz (Muckelberg) (rt) who was like a SISTER to Linda Wolf. Such friendships are rare.
Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.

What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies.
Linda was always smiling and was very witty. She, Pretzl and I would sometimes cruise Villard Avenue, just for fun. If we ever wanted to know who someone was and what homeroom they were in, Linda would know. I shared fond memories with Linda at our friend Pretzl's sons weddings. She is missed and will always be in my heart. Diane Mortensen Wilke
Helen Poetzl Solomon......My Friend, Linda Wolf, passed away April 11, 2004. What a loss! She was a best friend for 46 plus years. She left me with so many wonderful memories, from skating at McGovern Park, walking to Capitol Court to shop, watching movies at the Ritz Theater to cruising Villard Avenue. She had the greatest sense of humor and wit. She was knowledgeable on so many subjects. She was my go to trivia buff. She was my Saturday Morning 7:00A.M. chat, whether from St. Louis, MO or Wausau, WI. She was such a special friend and is dearly missed.
