Place of Death: Lawton, Oklahoma

Age 66, Lawton - Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill.
Sergeant Major Reinke died Saturday in a Lawton hospital.
Burial with full military honors will be under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.
He was born April 20, 1943 in Minot, North Dakota to Rolland and Viona Reinke. He graduated from Minot High School in 1961 and joined the military. He married Jacqueline Lee Younge in Springfield, Missouri, on January 24, 1965. He served in the U.S. Army for 27 years, including two tours in Vietnam, a tour in Korea and two tours to Germany. His awards include the National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Device, Vietnam Service Medal with one silver and two bronze service stars, Expert Infantryman Badge, Presidential Unit Citation, Bronze Star Medal with First Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Medal with 2nd award, Army Commendation Medal with second oak leaf cluster, Civil Actions Honor Medal with first class, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Meritorious Service Medal with second oak leaf cluster, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with palm, Four Overseas Service Bars, Army Good Conduct Medal – 8, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon with numeral two, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Combat Infantryman Badge and the Expert rifle M16.
Following his retirement from the military he attended Cameron University, graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He audited for the State of Oklahoma for a number of years before retiring. He was a Lutheran and a member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son and daughter in law, Daniel and Tracy Reinke, Norman, Oklahoma; a daughter and son in law, Laura and Jeremy Lunnen, Spokane, Washington, seven grandchildren, Whitney Reinke and Amanda, Taylor, Sarah, Hannah, Noah and Adam Lunnen; two brothers and a sister in law, Kenneth and Debra Reinke, Minot, North Dakota, and Rollie Reinke, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; a sister, Sandra, Colorado.
His parents and an infant niece preceded him in death.
