Joe died on September 17, 2008 at the age of 48. He was survived by wife Christine Cabral (Richards) and children Ryan and Jessica. Joe lived in Mississauga at the time of his death and was involved in a tow truck accident.
It was quite the shock when I read about Joe on this website. Joe, Chris and our gang Joanne,Gabe, Laurie, Colleen,Frank,Randy,George, Pam, Kim, Ken, Sue, Rick and everyone else we partied with back in the 70'S I know will sure miss Joe....I had the good fortune to spend time with Chris at the reunion....talking to Chris about the past was like time stood still and we were back 31 years ago to my basement on a Friday evening..we may have all gone our separate ways after school but I know we all have never forgotten each other....My Dad always told me to tell Joe to take his car home and walk back, as drinking and driving was not cool....Joe my Friend, all these years have passed for us all, and now knowing you are no longer with us....we are still thinking of you and your family....Rest In Peace Good Buddy!!! we will all meet again some day......RK xx
