It has been a long time - just want the kids to know that Tom was a best friend for several years from Grade 6-12.
I lived a few doors down from Tom on Ponytrail Drive and I have many wonderful stories growing up when he was young. Heather / Jennifer and Tom lived a few doors down in a townhouse and not much more to tell to say to you except, he was an amazing person.
Tom was had a great personality and he must have been a great Dad to you both.
