Carl passed away on 03-08-2013 at the age of 42 from stomach cancer.  He lived in Mississauga and was survived by Dong (Wife), Nathan (son), Melody (daughter), sister (Anne), nieces, nephews and cousins.

He graduated University of Toronto (Engineering), University of Waterloo (Masters of Engineering). He was a longtime employee of ATI Technologies Inc. Participated as a team to develop and patent many innovations as listed: https://patents.justia.com/inventor/carl-mizuyabu .  He always spoke highly of Glenforest S.S. and the teachers and students he met there.
