Update August 2014: I've moved to East Lansing, MI to start my PhD at Michigan State University in higher education administration.
Update: In January 2010 I accepted the position of athletic director and student activities coordinator at Scott Community College and moved back to the QC after being gone basically since graduation. It's been a busy few months packing up and moving from Indiana, finding a place here, starting the new job, etc., but it's fun being back. I've already run into a few old classmates around town.
I went to Knox College for undergrad, graduated in 97. Taught HS English at Galesburg HS for four years while coaching tennis and softball part-time at Knox. Left Galesburg in 2001 to go to grad school. Got my Masters (in sports sociology and sport psychology) from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2003. Took a coaching/assistant AD job in Phoenix for a year, but decided to come back to the midwest so I went to work at Hanover College in southern Indiana as the head women's tennis coach, head softball coach, assistant athletic director, assistant sports information director, and an instructor for the health and fitness department.
