Took a couple of years off and worked odd jobs. Then Missi got a hold of me, tamed me and we married. My daughter Danielle (Danni) was born and I decided to join the Air Force. I begame an Air Transportation Specialist. That was 1996. Soon after, Joesph (Joey) was born while I was stationed at Travis AFB in California.
While stationed at Travis, I was assigned to a mobility unit. This unit was unique, as it required me to travel all over the world to do my job. No kidding, here are the countries (and US territories, etc.) I have visited so far:
Germany--Italy--Sicily--Belgium--England--Scotland--Wales--The Netherlands--Spain--South Africa--Kenya--Bahrain--Saudi Arabia--Turkey--Panama--Chile--American Samoa--Guam--Hawaii-Alaska--Mexico--Canada--Japan (Honshu and Okinawa)--South Korea and finally Australia.
I finally changed jobs and promoted to Master Sgt. I am now an Inflight Refueling Specialist (Boom Operator). Because of my rank, I fly less than most boom operators, but I like taking care of people. I would consider becoming a First Sergeant in a year ot so, but my job is experiencing a critical shortage at my rank. This is likely where I'll be when I retire in less than four years. Lastly, I've only added Qatar and the United Arab Emirates to my growing list of places.
