Vern Lynn Keck was born September 23, 1948 in Bismarck,ND; and died on May 20, 2024 in Augusta, WI.  

The family moved to Mondovi in 1958. Vern graduated from Mondovi High School in 1967.After high school he moved to Eau Claire where he worked at various places doing custodial work.

Vern enjoyed playing dart ball with his church family, watching the Badgers, Packers and Mondovi sports, and watching professional wrestling. He also enjoyed watching old westerns on tv, attending Moose meetings and visiting with his friends at McDonalds.

He is survived by his brother, Lonnie (Ann Marie) Keck; sister, Beth Kennedy;step-brother, Dan (Debbie) Hill; nephew, Jared (Aubrey) Keck; great niece, Flora; great nephew, Holden; step-nieces, Amanda (Roswell) Woodworth, Dawn (Jeff) Endle; step-nephews, Joshua (Sarah)Hill, Chris Hill; step great niece and step great nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtiss and Gladys; step-father, Cecil E. Hill;  step-brother, Cecil J. Hill; and step-nephew, Curtis Hill
