I'd like to say Ben was a really cool guy in our class! Loved sitting behind him in Butch Fortunatos history class, watching him bounce the basketball all around his seat. Loved knowing him, sounds like he had a good life🤗

"Hands" is what we called him.  If the ball was in his reach, he caught it.  I believe we were the first of our class to go to Vietnam, me in 65' and Been in 67'?  He was quiet in the huddle but could he play ball ( any sport).   Great person to know and be friends with.

I remember when our 9th grade Mt. Hebron football team played a ragtag game against Glenfield at Glenfield Park; no uniforms, coaches or even football shoes although we had a few cheerleaders. We won but they killed us later in basketball. I knew then that Ben was a star athlete and what a super cool guy. We talked about that game many times at various reunions! RIP Brother🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
