It was with very deep sadness that I've learned of Lois' passing. We lived across the street (Valley Road) from each other since before kindergarten. We both lived "Over the Stores". She was over Chapman's (later the Olympic Shop), and I over Angelbeck's.  We used to walk to Sunday School together.  Our parents were very close friends. Her Dad was a milkman for Applegate Farms.  Her Mom and My Mom were especailly close friends. My attempts to get together with her in recent years were all rejected. I suspect that she didn't want me to see the effects of Parkinson's that took her life. R.I.P., Lois (aka "Ann").
