Karen A. Jacobus
Karen earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design majoring in Environmental Design and an Associate in Science from Ambler Campus of Temple University majoring in Landscape Design.
She held various positions as a Horticulturist including seven years at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens in a management position for the retail shop, several positions as Office Manager for some smaller plant maintenance businesses and Production Assistant working for the 1986 New York Flower Show.
An almost 30 year resident in the SoHo area of New York City, Karen was an excellent photographer specializing in horticultural and architectural subjects. She had a professional’s talent and was very active in home cultivation of orchids. She was a member of the Horticultural Society of New York. Karen also showed and bred pedigreed Maine Coon cats.
