It’s almost that time for the best school in the city to show out once again. Year #3. Bring ya tents, coolers, and grills. Spots are first come first serve. Tell a poet to tell a poet to tell a poet. Every year we’ve had more people show up. And I’m looking for the same this year. This year the best class to EVER walk the halls of Lanier, THE CLASS OF 99 will be your host as we celebrate our 20th. Been taken over since the 9 9!!!!!! This is a time for us to fellowship and rekindle friendships with those we haven’t seen in years. But as I preach EVERY year, more importantly, this is a time for us to show our love for Lanier by giving back. My personal goal is to raise $10,000 for our beloved school. I’m asking that every class raise $500. I don’t think that that’s a lot.

I’m asking that all donations are donated through the Lanier Alumni Association. From there, you can specifically specify where your class wants your donation to go. The reason we’re doing it like that this year is because we want the school to see that we’re not just out here having a picnic with the school name and not giving back. So now we can show that this is where the money went. Class of 99, I got the first $100.

If you would like to be a vendor/club/party promoter, please contact me first. To be honest I’m not going to say no. It’s just a respect factor. I will ask all that a portion of your proceeds be donated back to the school. I have a list of POETS who does t shirts, cups, mugs, and whatever else your heart desires. Let’s support each other before we venture outside the castle.
