I saw a wonderful site today where you can thank our troops for all they do to keep us free. Log on to www.letssaythanks.com and you will be able to send a free card to our troops. It has been verified by Snopes.com. I just did it myself and I can't see anything that could be harmful to your computer. I think it would mean so much to our troops.

Check out the Montpelier map page and take notice of the present businesses listed there. Can you remember way back when we were in school and what businesses were there then? If you can, add your response on the message forum and we will see if, between us, we can list them all. This is a challenge folks!

I remember Pence's gas station on the corner by the schools. There was a small store across the street. Mary Ann (Schwarz) Johnson's mom owned it. It was called Bradshaws. There was a restaurant uptown called "The Point" Patty (Trant) Quillen's mom was there. Does anybody remember the dimestore? It was called the "Federated". Lucinda Hurst's family owned it then Chris Flannagan's family had it. Also the drugstore was named "Criders" before Bontragers had it. I had better quit remembering before I really show my age! Hi!

I am thinking Steve Ruble would be a good one to draw a street map of Montpelier as it was when we graduated (or even before).  I am sure Bobbi could help him with it.  Shoot, he could even pick someone from the class to work on it (via email or mail or something).  In fact he could get as many as he wants to help him.  Then.....when it is all done he could email it to me and.....again.....I will try to put it on the website.
