I think that we should do a family picnic on Sunday. It will give people a chance to meet family members that they will not be able to see on Friday or Saturday night. Plus a nice relaxing day will need to be in store after two nights of partying.

It would be nice to open one of the events to people in classes a year before and a year behind us. I had friends on either side of '89 that would be nice to see again. My sister's reunion did this, and everyone liked it.

I think Nikki has a great point. I think the dinner on Saturday night should be just the Class of 1989 (which would include old classmates of the same year). However, I would personally really enjoy other good friends from other years to join us on Friday and/or Sunday.

Wait...We had parking permits in high School? Did that go with the "Closed Campus" that we also had.

Would that be the "closed" campus where student smoking was permitted? That would never fly today.

I get a chuckle thinking of the teachers walking out to the road to smoke, as we drove off the "closed" campus.

Totally off subject but, where were the rest of the '89 B-ball players this weekend. Derek Stone put together an alumni weekend and us having our 20th didn't already make me feel old, I was the oldest player in the tourny. Never thought i would see the day when i was the 'Old Guy'!!!!

Sorry, Scott. I couldn't make it, not to mention the last time I played B-ball I nearly passed out from exhaustion. It wouldn't have mattered... your older than me, so you still would've been the Old Man.

Count down is on my friends. The reunion is right around the corner. I am so busy getting botox, teeth whitening, and trying to lose 20 pounds, but I will find you if you are not registered. In all honesty I cannot wait to see all of you...Heidi

Heidi Socha -- I love it! Can I add that I've gotten my hair cut a few times with this reunion in mind -- still don't like it, but at least the 80's style bangs are gone now!

Hopefully we can get some more chatter on this forum! I love hearing what everyone is up to and I can't wait for the reunion!

Ok... I am laughing my Ass of on your comment Heidi. You know what? I don't think any of us need to do anything to get ready for this reunion. We look damn better than we did 20 years ago for sure. Can't wait to see all of you. We are going to have so much fun. Shan

Hola to all !! Sorry I've been missing in action so long-- I'll blame it on the 8 mo. old. Thanks for all the work getting the reunion together.

What does everyone think about Dirty Woman Park for Sun. lunch/picnic??
I can ask Bridget-- I think they had to reserve it-- Potluck would probably work (i.e. bring something to grill, drink, + a side dish (salad, dessert, etc. to share)--People could post what they're bringing or just leave it up to luck that we won't get 20 potato salads-
It would be fun to play some b-ball-- they have horseshoe pits ( I CAN BRING A SET OR 2 OF SHOES FROM MY PARENTS)-- let me know what I could do to help in the picnic arena

By the way--- I have every negative and photo from our Middle Sch. yrbook (as well as everything from the Ranger Review newspaper) if anyone wanted to do something with them-- put them on video or something-- don't think I'll be able to afford to take them somewhere, but let me know if you want to borrow them--

On the topic of looking good. . . I didn't want to upload a photo as I have no makeup on most days, which is needed to hide the dark circles from lil' sleep . . . but I wouldn't trade the 2 kiddos for anything (even an uninterrupted night of sleep, which I haven't had in months!!).-- Anyway, I'll be excited to see everyone and know that I will at least get a shower that day! (those of you that are parents will appreciate how showers become a "luxury.")--see ya soon --aoc
