Diana Lee Gonzalez-Sumpter, 64, of Clifton, passed away July 1, 2016. She was born July 12, 1951 in Morenci, AZ to Juan & Nora Gonzalez.
A Memorial service for Diana will be held on Friday, July 8th at 2:00 p.m. at the Shepherd of the Hills Church in Morenci.

There is to be a memorial service for Diana in Morenci this Friday, July 8th at Shepherd of the Hills Church, 2:00 pm. This information was given to me by her cousin, Annette Duran.
I had not seen Diana since graduation day back in 1969. I recently sent her a card when Scott passed away and I received one from her thanking me for thinking of her! This sums up Diana and who she was. Even though we had not kept in touch over the years, we both agreed that once a Morenci Wildcat---------always a Morenci Wildcat. We planned to meet up and chat the next time I visited Morenci. I am so, so sorry that will never happen.
Scott was the love of her life and now they will be together once again.

Such sad news. I'll remember her laugh, sweetness, and smiles -- and her love for Scott. He took her breath away the second she met him and they had a wonderful life with each other and their daughters. May they rest in peace together.
