Nancy was in the class of 1968.

Nancy Cervantez, 56, passed away following a long illness on June 5, 2006 in Tucson.

She was born in Morenci and was a longtime Morenci resident and P.D. employee for 29 years. She followed in the career footsteps of her late father, Joe Armijo, who also worked in Morenci. Her nontraditional career began as a mine laborer and ended in management as a mine planner.

She was a wonderful & truly devoted daughter, mother, grandma and sister.

Her surviving family includes her mother, daughter, granddaughter, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
