C/O '99 Spotlight

First and foremost let’s put our classmates that are in the military in the Spotlight. I’m not about to share my views on the war, but to know that anytime you can get called to be put on the front line to defend our Country is very commendable. As you all know we did loose a classmate in the War, and I think we all have memories of “TLee” that make us wish we had one more minute with him. Take the time out to just tell one of our classmates thanks, Because we do thank you all, and weather you’re here in the United States or getting ready to go for the first, second or third time, we do want let you know we love ya, and hurry home!!

While he's not busy designing state of the art buildings you can find him flying with his bike crew in Houston, Texas. Check out John and his website www.JustFlyBy.com to see what he's doing to put Moss Point on the map in the state of Texas.

I'm sure everybody remember where you were on a Friday night. Of course cheering on a football team that was unstoppable. Well now you can find number twenty-seven on the other side of that line. Coach Marcus Woodson, has just been recruited by Charleston Southern College in Charleston, South Carolina to contiune his career as Defensive Backs Coach. Marcus also upheld the same position at Millsaps College, while there he was also in charge of recruiting in Mississippi, Florida, and southern parts of Alabma and Louisiana.   Okay let’s be honest, how many of you came to a basketball game to see the girls play?! Yeah right, I know it was all about them six feet Varsity Boys waiting to see the DUNK of the night. Ten years later look who’s still doing what he loves best. Leroy “the Duke” Hurd is still getting people on their feet to this day. We all knew what was about to happen when Leroy got the ball in his hand and sprinted ahead of the crowd to reach his “Goal”. Not to mention hearing the beat of a single drum from his biggest fan in the crowd, his dad. Can’t blame him though I think if I had a drum those dunks would make e want to be a drum too.  Thanks for keeping us on our feet Hurd and don’t forget to cheer on the girls we tried to dunk too!
