I left Murfreesboro in August of 1988 fully expecting to return and live there following college. 20 years later, I'm still thinking that could happen one day. I graduated from Lambuth College in Jackson,TN and remained there teaching choral music in the public schools until 1995. At that point, I moved to Atlanta and completed my graduate studies at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Short story... graduated from Emory, returned to West TN in 1997, was ordained by the United Methodist Church and have been serving various churches / ministries in the area since that time. I married John in 2004 and we now have 2 beautiful daughters so life is more than good. I currently serve as Executive Director of Hannah's Hope United Methodist Adoption & Family Services.
We have planned for months to attend the reunion, but after being in the 'Boro last weekend for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary celebration, we are trying to decide whether or not we (and the girls) are up for another "quick trip" so soon. Hopefully we'll see you there!
