CLIFFORD A. LOVELESS
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Clifford 'Skip 'A. Loveless, 69, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the University of Iowa.
Bring out your classic car, in Skip's honor, for food and fellowship from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at the American Legion. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Skip was born on June 15, 1952, in Muscatine, the son of Clifford and Alberta Wookey Loveless. He graduated in 1970 from Muscatine High School.
Skip was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 1st Calvary. He worked at Hon as a production welder. He was a proud member of the Staffordshire Terrier Club of America. Because of his passion for the American Staffordshire Terrier breed, he started Mystik Kennels breeding a bloodline of champions worldwide. Skip showed and judged dogs all over the world, earning national championships, many trophies, and many ribbons over the years.
He was very active in the classic car community. Skip was involved in several classic car organizations. He was a top member of Buick Club Worldwide, Quad City Dragracers, and Chevelle Owner's Association. Family was very important to him, never missing a school or sporting event. Skip enjoyed taking his grandkids on dates to their favorite spot, China Garden. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Cubs fan.
He will be deeply missed by Janine Loveless; his son, Jason Loveless and his wife, Ashley, of Muscatine; his daughter, Fey Sanches-Bueno and her husband, Derrick, of Muscatine; five grandchildren, Keegan, Kendra, Hanley, Natalia, and Daedric; three great grandchildren, Piercen, Boone, and Willow; one sister, Janet Kautz of Lone Tree; one stepsister, Linda Wiley of Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews.
Skip is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Barbara Haller, and one granddaughter-in-law, Abby Platt.

Sheldon J. Bieri, age 69, of Spirit Lake, formerly of Laurens, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus in Rochester, Minnesota. Funeral Service is 10:30 A.M., Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Laurens with Pastor David Klappenbach officiating. Coffee and Rolls will be served from 9:30 – 10:15 A.M., Friday, at the church fellowship hall in honor of Sheldon. Graveside Service is 12:30 P.M., Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Okoboji Cemetery in Okoboji, Iowa. Reception and meal at 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 29, at The Hutt Bar and Grill in Arnolds Park. Due to the uncertainty of the Covid 19 Virus, the reunion planned for September 2021 has been canceled. We hope to plan one for next year.
