Ken McCormick, 56

 MUSCATINE, Iowa – Kenneth T. McCormick, 56, of Muscatine, died Monday, September 22, 2008, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
   Memorial Service will be 6 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2008, at Mulford Evangelical Free Church.  Reverend Clark Pantel will officiate.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
   Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2008, at the church.  The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  Memorials may be made to the family in care of Denise Collier.  
   Kenneth was born on April 2, 1952, in Muscatine, the son of James R. and Lillian LaRue McCormick.  He married Evelyn Kramer and they later divorced.
   He had retired from H. J. Heinz Company after 25 years of employment.  He had also worked for Pizza Hut and Happy Joes.
   He enjoyed spending time with his grandson and many friends.  He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting baseball cards, reading, watch movies, and going to the riverboats.
   Survivors include his children, Kevin A. McCormick of Chicago, Illinois, and Denise M. Collier of Muscatine; two grandchildren, four year old Rowen J. Collier and two year old Riley J. Collier of Muscatine; his mother, Lillian McCormick; six brothers, James McCormick of Conesville, Gayle McCormick of Columbus Junction, Ronald McCormick of Versailles, Missouri, Barry McCormick of Muscatine, Tim McCormick of Muscatine, and Keith McCormick of Muscatine; and three sisters, Bonnie Buser of Conesville, Christine McCormick of Muscatine, and Peggy Smith of Muscatine.
